Progress of design

This is my design progress to reach my concept (snow flakes).

This is Frank Gehry's Atlantic Yards scheme. This looks similar to my design and I'm trying to shift my floors in one or two patterns like this.

  1. Sorry for the delay...
I think you are heading in the right direction with the idea of shifting of the elements but it seens that you are losing the snowflakes idea. Please do not depart from your original concept. If you recall, snow flakes have some sharp edges that you are desregarding on this scheme. In addition, what is that tube in the middle? That seems like an object that does not belong. if its a core why not enclose it withing your design? Did you think about an atrim? My suggestion it to study the possibilities of adding voids. Keep up the good work by this time you should have at least 50 schemes.

  2. I think this is an example of how the concept of snowflakes is incorporated in the program and the site. I think the next step is to see how the vertical circulation works in the core and the layouts of the spaces. What happens on the ground floor? Facade articulation? I really like the idea of voids. I think those could play into outdoor spaces.
